About the role

This position is responsible for shaping internal communications strategy, translating business priorities into clear and compelling messaging, and partnering with senior leaders to reinforce Tenable's culture and strategic direction.
You will have the opportunity to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, taking programs from concept through delivery.
You will act as the "air traffic controller" for corporate messaging, using strong storytelling instincts to synthesize complex business and strategic concepts into content that resonates across all levels of the organization.

You will partner closely with HR and leadership teams to support culture-building, employee engagement, change management, and key company initiatives.
Ensure consistency in tone, branding and messaging across platforms while maintaining a communications strategy built to drive engagement and reinforce key messages.

Proven experience in executive communications and ghostwriting.
ability to clearly communicate across a variety of platforms and confidently make recommendations to senior stakeholders, including executive leadership.
Outstanding project and change management skills, including proven experience managing global announcement and event calendars.
Experience establishing continuous two-way employee feedback loops and using qualitative and quantitative data to measure KPIs.
Experience managing internal communications platforms (e.g., intranets, Slack, email marketing platforms, digital signage).
Proficiency with the Google Workspace suite, internal communications software stacks, and data analysis tools (Excel, Tableau).
B.A./B.S. degree in marketing, journalism, communications, human resources, or equivalent work experience.
A curiosity-driven approach to emerging tools, including AI and LLMs, with a track record of adopting new technology to work smarter, move faster, and elevate the quality of communications output.

Experience in or familiarity with the technology or cybersecurity industries is preferred.

Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles), depending on company and individual performance.
