  • The Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for accurate and timely processing of invoices, payment requests, and maintaining timely and professional communication with vendors in accordance with company policies and internal controls.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain professional communication with vendors and internal business partners to resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate vendor and invoice records, including supporting documentation and audit-ready files

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize workload and meet processing deadlines
  • Two (2+) or more years of experience in accounts payable invoice processing and coding
  • This role requires an understanding of general and administrative expense payment processing, strong attention to detail, and the ability to research and resolve vendor and payment discrepancies.

Nice to have

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and AP workflow tools (e.g., OpenInvoice)
  • Knowledge of AP concepts including invoice review, payment terms, resolving discrepancies, and understanding debits/credits in an AP context
  • Ability to identify, research, and help resolve invoice and payment issues, escalating as appropriate
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.

Compensation

  • Follow SOX and other internal control procedures; support annual compliance testing and audits related to accounts payable processes
