About the role
- This position is responsible for providing client care through focused assessment, treatment and discharge
- planning on our rehabilitation and recovery units, and contributing to our resident's quality of life through assessment of
- appropriate interventions to maximize safe, functional independence on our continuing care units.
Responsibilities
- providing clinical supervision to support staff and students.
Requirements
- Graduation from a recognized Masters or Degree program in Physical Therapy Registration with the College of Physical Therapists of Alberta is required;
- Experience using physiotherapy in a clinical and/or continuing care setting an asset
- Responsible for other related duties as required.
- Employees are required to use technologies, devices, resources, and systems provided by the employer, as per Carewest policy and procedure.
- Adherence to relevant privacy legislation and best practice including HIA, ATIA, POPA, and InfoCare Behaviours, is required.
- AADL authorizer is an asset
