Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain cost reduction programs Recommend new sources and suppliers.
- Negotiate blanket purchase contracts with new and existing suppliers that will deliver product at lowest total acquisition cost.
- Plan, modify, and reschedule purchase orders according to production schedules Develop and maintain Bills of Materials Assists with producing and scheduling production runs based on product demands Maintain the schedule and actively communicate changes to production team on a routine basis.
- Able to work on own and within a team environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Buyer/Planner.
Skills
- The Buyer/Planner is responsible for purchasing and planning the manufacture/assembly of Dunlop products.
