About the role

  • This is a one or two-year position in which the individual receives intensive training and exercises ministerial functions consistent with a Campus Staff Minister.
  • Pay Range: $36,132.00 - $48,168.00 per year Pay: This position is funded through personal fundraising.
  • The anticipated salary range for this position on a full-time basis (40 hours/week) is dependent on a variety of factors, including location and cost of living.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required for non-enrolled candidates assigned to four-year campuses
  • Associate's degree required for non-enrolled candidates assigned to two-year campuses
  • Ability to contribute to an open and supportive relationship wit h ministry team members
  • Annually affirm InterVarsity's Statement of Agreement (Doctrinal Basis and Purpose Statement); a bide by InterVarsity's Code of Conduct; b elieve and behave consonantly with InterVarsity's Human Sexuality Theological Paper. Affirm and behave consonantly with InterVarsity's "Women in Ministry Statement of Affirmation"
  • Exploring calling to InterVarsity and its mission
  • Bachelor's degree required for non-enrolled candidates assigned to four-year campuses; Associate's degree required for non-enrolled candidates assigned to two-year campuses
  • Willing to receive training to become a Campus Staff M inister

Nice to have

  • Prior experience with InterVarsity or other campus ministry preferred (including as a student)

Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Prior experience teach ing spiritual and biblical principles, pla nning ministry programs, and spiritually discipl ing others
  • The Campus Ministry Associate will be assigned work based on skills determined by the application process.

Compensation

  • $36,132.00 - $48,168.00 per year
  • Pay: This position is funded through personal fundraising.
  • Accordingly, compensation will vary based on the ability of the individual to secure a donor team to fund the cost of his/her salary.
  • The anticipated salary range for this position on a full-time basis (40 hours/week) is dependent on a variety of factors, including location and cost of living.
  • The actual salary received, including any geographic adjustment to account for location and cost of living, is subject to the individual's ability to raise funds necessary to cover the full amount of such salary within the range set forth in the job posting details.
