About the role
- This position will also serve as the Training Department's Training Coordinator.
- Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 1.
- Acts as the responsibility centers' point of contact for the Corrective Action Program (CAP) issues and implementation.
Responsibilities
- Maintains a thorough working knowledge of the CAP process.
- Performs administrative review of evaluations and responses to Corrective Actions for quality and adequacy.
- Analyze functional unit performance data and develop preliminary actions needed to close identified gaps to excellence.
- Maintain and keep updated all training indicators such as the department's Plan for Excellence.
- Develop and maintain Focused and Formal Benchmarking Self-Assessment plans for the associated work group.
- Working under the direction of the Training support supervisor, the incumbent will serve as an individual contributor and advocate for Susquehanna Nuclear LLC's performance improvement programs in the Training Department.
Requirements
- Associates/Bachelors/master's degree and 0-3 years' experience working in a Power Plant, OR
- High School diploma and a minimum of 4 years' experience working in a Power Plant.
- High School Diploma and 5 years' experience working in a Power Plant, OR
- Associates degree and 3 years' experience working in a Power Plant, OR
- BS degree and 2 years working in a Power Plant.
- High School diploma and 10 years' experience working in a CAPCO/PIC role, OR
- Associates degrees and 7 years' experience working in a CAPCO/PIC role, OR
- BS/MS degree and 5 years' experience working in a CAPCO/PIC role
- Assists in the collection of data as required to support accreditation.
- and has awareness of safety rules and environmental hazards with ability to take appropriate action to ensure safety for personnel, the public and environment.
Nice to have
- Bachelor of Science or technical field degree is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
- ability to work well with personnel from other work groups and with experts from outside the company.
- Ability to meet project deadlines, demonstrated commitment to improvement and self-development.
- Must be forward-thinking and able to maintain an awareness of industry performance in order to maintain the respective programs equal to or ahead of the industry best performers.
- Extensive knowledge of all Susquehanna SES programs, job requirements, procedures, work activities, and plant systems
