About the role
- The PM Tech / Utility Tech 3 position is an entry-level technician capable of doing preventative maintenance on Medical equipment, and will be expected to learn the operation of a variety of biomedical equipment.
- A technical background will allow for advancement within the biomedical field.
- He/ She will be expected to participate in business growth and productivity improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a variety of biomedical equipment
- Other duties and tasks as directed by the Supervisor, Lead or Manager.
Requirements
- Understanding of and ability to operate basic electronic test equipment
- Basic knowledge of electronics, electricity, electro-mechanical, fluidics, pneumatics and hydraulic theories and practices.
- Must be organized.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Ability to wok under pressure with a positive attitude.
- Must be able to lift 50LBS.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and learn quickly
- Working knowledge of PC software such as Microsoft office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point) One Track, E1.
Compensation
- Will participate in the Bi-annual inventory of equipment.
Benefits
- Will participate in a department on-call rotation, including short to last minute overtime when needed and weekend overtime for critical projects, coverage as necessary.
