Responsibilities
- This position will be available to support
- Selects and administers anesthetic agents, medications and fluids to include blood products as necessary to manage anesthesia, in support of damage control principles Select, initiate and manage all types of non-invasive and invasive monitoring modalities, including arterial and central venous catheters, with or without ultrasound guidance.
- Manages complex patient airways and pulmonary function using the latest modalities of mechanical ventilation, pharmacological support, video laryngoscopy, and other respiratory/airway therapy techniques Order, initiate or modify pain relief therapy, utilizing intravenous analgesia and regional anesthetic techniques.
Requirements
- Must be available for at least one (1) ~60 day rotation OCONUS annually, plus additional training/screening events.
