About the role

  • Production Associate / Assembler Location: Fort Wayne, IN Pay: Starting at $22.28/hr, with opportunities to earn up to $24.53/hr through shift differential and cross-training.
  • Shift Differential: - Non-Continuous (8-hour): 2nd shift +$1.00/hr, 3rd shift +$1.25/hr - Continuous (12-hour): Day shift +$0.35/hr, Night shift +$1.25/hr Differential applies to employee's home shift.
  • Operate manual hirater or bitrode and/or OCV meter to test quality.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to work 8-hour or 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends
  • Must be able to wear required PPE (gloves, safety glasses, uniform, and safety boots)
  • U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident status required (no sponsorship available)
  • Proof of employment eligibility required.
  • Shrink-wrap batteries as required.
  • Basic math, reading, and computer skills
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing repetitive physical tasks
  • About the Plant
  • Our Fort Wayne, Indiana Distribution Center opened in 1999 and now employs more than 130 people. The site plays a critical role in charging, packaging, and shipping Clarios batteries used in cars, boats, motorcycles, and heavy-duty trucks.
