About the role

  • Job Details: This position is responsible for multiple tasks including receiving orders, loading trucks, and dispatching trucks while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
  • Schedule Monday-Friday: 5:30am-3:30pm This position is responsible for performing tasks assigned by supervisor that are associated with the day to day.
  • Able to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain good housekeeping including service areas

Requirements

  • The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to read and write in order to receive and document orders
  • Must be able to schedule loads of feed by creating and organizing feed tickets and maintaining them for record keeping.
  • Must be able to dispatch loads of feed and distribute them evenly among driver/team members within DOT rules and regulations.
  • Must be able y to answer calls from Service Techs and Growers while maintaining a good working relationship with them.
  • Must be able to organize/flex task and change priorities throughout the day
  • Must be able to work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures
  • Communicate to all levels of Operations including Customers and Vendors both orally and in writing where required

Nice to have

  • 1 year feed mill experience preferred

  • Basic computer skill
  • Mus be able to certify as a Weigh Master
  • 3-month operator experience listed on the application (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 3 months.
  • 180 days wait period from last termination date,
  • 3X rule (candidates cannot have worked for Tyson 3X before)
