About the role
- This appointment for this position is anticipated to begin August 16, 2026, and the initial length of the appointment will be one semester (ending December 31, 2026).

Responsibilities
- The Department of Architecture, in the College of Design at Iowa State University (ISU), invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Practice to teach undergraduate level studio courses.
- All faculty members are expected to exhibit and convey good citizenship within department, college, and university activities, interact collegially and maintain the highest standards of integrity and ethical behavior.
Requirements
- OR Bachelor of Architecture and an MS in Architecture or a related field
- OR Bachelor of Architecture and minimum of 2 years of architectural professional practice experience
Nice to have
- Familiarity with industry standards and trends in Architecture
- Certification or licensure in Architecture or a related field
