About the role

- This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable space flight.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the maintenance of various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.
- Assists with producibility assessments for part or product designs under guidance of senior teammates.
- Assists in reviews design, manufacturing processes, and manufacturing technologies to meet costs and schedules.
- Assists in development of work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.
- Provides ship side support under guidance of senior teammates
- We're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion.
- This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.
Requirements
- HS/GED/Equiv required.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
- 1 or more years of relevant manufacturing planning experience in an aerospace company
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Experience with Manufacturing & CAD Software (Jules, CMES, Velocity, Enovia, Delmia, CATIA, CREO, Etc.)

- Required for all positions: Blue's Standard Background Check
- Required for Certain Job Profiles: Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) background check if at any time the role requires one to be on a military installation
- Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
- HS/GED/Equiv required. Associate Degree or trade school in related discipline and/or 5+ years of manufacturing planner, or production experience or a combination of education and experience.
- Blueprint reading
- Exposure to P6 or other GANTT-style schedules
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office products.)
- Understanding of the Manufacturing Engineering Organizational function.

Compensation
- Paid Time Off: Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays.
