About the role

  • This role is responsible for communicating financial results to both external clients and management teams.

Responsibilities

  • Review and maintain accuracy of general ledgers
  • Support Property Accounting Managers with ad hoc projects, monthly closes and distributions
  • Monitor cash receipt postings, tenant billings, billing adjustments and perform tenant ledger reconciliations when necessary

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Real Estate Accounting experience
  • Proficiency using Excel and Google Suite products
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Planning and Organizing. ability to establish a course of action to accomplish goals and evaluate results.
  • This position must be located in Dallas, TX
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment, and we are unable to sponsor H1-B Visas at this time.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in Public Accounting highly preferred

Compensation

  • $60,000 - $80,000 annually
  • Our compensation reflects several US geographic markets.
  • The base pay for this position represents the expected salary for this position.
  • Ultimately, your pay will be determined based on several factors, including location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other job-related factors.
  • Roofstock is a total compensation company; the base salary is only a part of our total compensation package.
