About the role

- Artemis makes equity and debt investments in commercial real estate located throughout the United States.
- This position will report directly to the Senior Vice Presidents on the Finance & Accounting team.
Responsibilities
- Maintain property and portfolio financial models with a focus on Fair Market Value analyses.
- Work with operating partners to onboard the joint venture accounting team to iLEVEL.
Requirements
- Exceptional organizational skills, and ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- 3-6 years of professional experience, at least 2 years in private equity.
- Experience with data analytics, research, and/or database management.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation abilities.
- Excellent critical thinking, judgment, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Drive, enthusiasm, creativity and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Competencies:
- Excellent financial modeling skills and overall Excel experience (candidates should expect to be tested).
- Preference given to previous employment at a principal real estate firm, real estate brokerage, real estate investment banking, or public accounting firm with a focus in real estate or capital markets.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, real estate, or another related field strongly preferred but not required
- Private equity (preferably PE real estate) experience preferred.
- Financial modeling sufficiency required
- understanding of financial analysis, modeling, and valuation, and the ability to use financial and valuation software including Excel and Argus preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of finance concepts such as NOI returns, cash flow returns, internal rate of return, present value/discounted cash flow, and capital markets strongly preferred.
