About the role
- Stratas Foods LLC is the leading supplier of fats and oils to the Foodservice, Food Ingredients and Retail Private Label markets in North America and is a producer of quality bulk and packaged dressings, mayonnaise and sauces.
- Stratas Foods was formed in October 2008 as a 50/50 joint venture between ACH Food Companies (ACH) and Archer Daniels Midland (ADM).
- Manufacturing facilities are located in Dallas and Houston, TX; Decatur and Quincy, IL; Englewood, NJ; Fresno, CA; Nashville, TN; and Valdosta, GA.
Nice to have
- Adhere to and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP requirements across all plant operations to ensure food safety and regulatory compliance.
- Investigate quality deviations, including customer complaints, and complete corrective and preventive actions with root cause analysis.
- Oversees QA technician's performance including scheduling, training, coaching, performance management, disciplinary actions, and timecard approvals.
- Review and verify quality and food safety documentation, including but not limited to swab sheets, batch cards, weight control sheets, positive release sheets, and line checks.
- Oversees the laboratory proficiency programs and third party laboratory services as well as lab certification programs.
- This includes but is not limited to New Jersey Department of Environment laboratory certification program, American Oil Chemist Society lab certification program, liaison between the lab an ESML and Merieux lab services.
- Provides the direct Manager with schedule and up to date information regarding lab operations, food safety and quality deviations.
- Follow all safety and environmental rules and regulations applicable to the position.
Compensation
- $75,153 - $100,850
