  • Applied Engineering, Inc. is seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team in Cypress, TX as a Manufacturing Engineer - Power & Transformer Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support the transfer of transformer‑related product lines into the Houston facility
  • Lead or support product validation, testing, and launch readiness activities
  • Participate in knowledge‑transfer visits to current production sites and support launch activities
  • Provide post‑launch support to stabilize production and resolve early‑stage issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
  • Prior transformer manufacturing or transformer product experience required
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required
  • Experience with equipment installation, validation, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to travel to sending facilities for knowledge transfer
  • Strong lean manufacturing knowledge and hands‑on application
  • Experience developing manufacturing documentation and training content

Nice to have

  • Epicor experience preferred

  • These roles are paid hourly and include paid overtime when applicable.
