- This position is based on-site in the Greater Seattle Area.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cash reconciliation of bank accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain and reconcile deferred revenue and accounts receivable subledgers.
- Maintain organized work papers and documentation to support internal and external audits.
- Improve and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, GAAP, and other regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate brings a strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of GAAP, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably with a focus on revenue or cash.
- Solid understanding of GAAP, particularly revenue recognition principles (ASC 606).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data reconciliation).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Acumatica, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, accounting, and internal control concepts.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented with a commitment to meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate in a clear, friendly, professional, and proactive manner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-unit environment.
- Proven reliability of attendance.
Compensation
- The compensation range for this role is $85,000 - $95,000 depending on experience.
- Pay may vary by location, and actual compensation depends on factors like qualifications, experience, skills, and business needs.
- $85,000 - $95,000 USD
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist with annual external audit by providing requested schedules and supporting documentation.
