About the role

The Security Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of the facility's security program at a federally contracted ICE residential facility in Alexandria, Louisiana.
The Security Manager oversees physical security operations, emergency preparedness, incident management, staff supervision, access control, use-of-force compliance, and security reporting in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.

We provide a range of professional services, including specialized facilities, customized logistics support, and direct care services.
Security Program Leadership Develop, implement, and maintain the facility's Security and Safety Supervision Plan and related security policies and procedures.
Support audits, inspections, compliance reviews, and monitoring visits.

Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods (up to 8-12 hours per shift).
Ability to respond quickly to emergencies throughout the facility.
Ability to sit for extended periods while conducting reporting and administrative duties.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and work in indoor and outdoor environments.
Minimum seven (7) years of progressive experience in security management, law enforcement, corrections, military police, or facility security operations, including at least three (3) years in a leadership role.
Experience managing use-of-force programs, security investigations, training, and incident reporting.
Ability to remain composed and make sound decisions in emergencies and high-pressure situations.
Knowledge of OSHA, fire/life safety requirements, and security best practices.
Must be located in or willing to relocate to the Alexandria, LA area.

Security Operations & Supervision Direct and supervise security personnel across all shifts, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and post coverage.
Emergency Response & Incident Management Develop and maintain emergency action plans for fire, evacuation, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical incidents.
Ensure timely reporting and investigation of incidents, including use-of-force events, safety concerns, PREA/SAAPI allegations, medical emergencies, and security violations.
Coordinate with medical, behavioral health, case management, and operations staff regarding resident safety concerns and special needs.
