Responsibilities
- Design of civil systems associated with municipal water and/or wastewater.
- Preparing documentation for design projects and reports.
- Supporting project specifications and contract documents.
Requirements
- Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or other related field and must have completed at least 3 years of study.
- Candidates who have recently graduated with a bachelor's degree and plan to continue with the master's degree are also eligible to apply for this position.
- Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their Bachelor's Degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.
Nice to have
- Comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Experience with municipal water, wastewater and/or stormwater conveyance infrastructure projects
- Experience with MicroStation, Civil 3D, or AutoCAD would be an asset.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors and clients.
- Relocation is not available for this position.
