About the role
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced knowledge lawyer to join our Funds team in New York.
Responsibilities
- Practice Support:
- Coordinate with the firm's opinion committee to update and maintain the legal opinion template
- Collaborate with lawyers across the firm's network on firm-wide knowledge management initiatives
- AI Adoption Support:
- Help drive a fully AI-enabled culture within our Funds team by working with lawyers and the legal technology team to identify use cases for AI/other tech solutions in our private fund work
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited US law school
- Knowledge of the funds space is vital, with at least five years of experience practicing law in fund formation, ideally closed-ended, private fund structures and related regulatory considerations
- Must be proactive and self-motivated
