About the role
- For example, we ensure that vaccines are safely filled and that tablets can fully release their active ingredients.
- The location specializes in a range of packaging equipment solutions - like horizontal flow wrappers, bag closing and sealers, and robotic pick-place-machines.
Responsibilities
- Cross-Functional Support: Serving as the technical bridge between engineering and other departments like sales, purchasing, and assembly to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in automated packaging or similar capital equipment
- Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology.
- Must have at least 8+ years of work experience in an Engineering discipline.
- Must have a minimum of 4+ years of experience supervising or managing a team of engineers.
Nice to have
- Technical experience with automating packaging or similar systems as a Controls or Software Engineer.
- Experience supervising highly technical employees.
- Master's degree in engineering or MBA a plus.
- Excellent leadership, decision making, and communication skills.
- Strong team orientated, along with strong organizational and time management skills, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Lean/Six Sigma experience with strong process/workflow design skills.
- Proven performance in similar role.
