About the role

  • You will be responsible for analyzing data, defining a strategic roadmap, and driving the implementation of AI-powered features that enhance product discovery, personalization, and overall customer satisfaction.
  • This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, UX/UI, and marketing, to ensure seamless integration and execution of AI initiatives.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Analyze user behavior, performance metrics, and A/B testing results to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement of recommendation and AI features.

Responsibilities

  • The Senior Product Manager - Recommendations & AI will lead the evolution of our e-commerce platform's personalization and AI-driven experiences.
  • This role will focus on leveraging advanced recommendation algorithms and generative AI to deliver highly relevant and engaging customer journeys across all platforms (desktop, mobile web, and app).
  • Lead the development and optimization of AI-driven recommendation systems, leveraging generative AI to create personalized content and experiences that enhance product discovery and conversion.
  • Explore and implement innovative applications of generative AI, including personalized product descriptions, tailored content generation, and AI-powered chat/search functionalities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, UX/UI, and marketing teams to define requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful product launches.
  • Drive AI-Powered Personalization: Lead the development and optimization of AI-driven recommendation systems, leveraging generative AI to create personalized content and experiences that enhance product discovery and conversion.
  • Generative AI Innovation: Explore and implement innovative applications of generative AI, including personalized product descriptions, tailored content generation, and AI-powered chat/search functionalities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, data science, UX/UI, and marketing teams to define requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful product launches.
  • Product Requirements & Design: Document detailed product requirements, user stories, and design specifications for AI-powered features, ensuring clear communication and alignment across teams.
  • Expertise in A/B testing and multivariate experimentation to drive data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with cloud-based AI platforms (e.g., Google Cloud AI or Vertex AI, AWS SageMaker or Bedrock, OpenAI Enterprise).
  • Experience with personalization platforms.
  • Experience with vector databases.
  • Experience with prompt engineering.
  • A Computer Science or similar technical degree is preferred.

  • $177,000 - $220,000 USD
