About the role
- As a Secondary and University Subject Expert, you will provide one-on-one, in-person tutoring to students in advanced high school and university-level courses.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, one-on-one tutoring in secondary and/or university-level Math, Science, or English courses.
- Support students with exam preparation, coursework, and long-term academic goals.
Nice to have
- Are qualified to teach at the secondary level.
- Have experience as a lecturer, instructor, or teaching assistant at an accredited college or university.
- Hold a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in Mathematics, Science, English, or a closely related field, with at least one year of tutoring or teaching experience.
- Possess demonstrated expertise in advanced secondary and/or university-level coursework within your subject area.
Skills
- Provide supplemental practice materials and academic strategies to deepen understanding.
- Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with parents, guardians, or students regarding performance and next steps.
- Maintain a professional, positive, and encouraging learning environment.
