Responsibilities

  • Serve as the trusted partner and primary point of contact for internal business partners, guiding them through the entire end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from initial need identification through vendor selection and contract execution, demonstrating a high sense of ownership.
  • Manage multiple BU and vendor engagements and high-volume procurement activities simultaneously across diverse indirect spend categories at any given time.
  • Collaborate with business partners and Procurement team members to develop, enhance and execute category strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align sourcing strategies accordingly.
  • Support sourcing initiatives, including RFIs/RFPs, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.
  • Maintain vendor relationships, manage contract renewals, and monitor supplier performance where applicable.
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and best practices. Educate business partners accordingly.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the procurement organization.
  • Proactively engage and partner with cross-functional stakeholders, including Legal, Infosec, IT, and FP&A, to preemptively identify and address their technical, financial, and risk-related requirements throughout the procurement process with both internal requesters and external vendors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, preferably in the software category or technology domain.
  • Basic proficiency and demonstrable experience with fundamental contractual terms and commercial agreements is required.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite / Google Workspace; experience with one or more of procurement tools (e.g., NetSuite ), financial planning/ERP systems (e.g. Anaplan, Oracle ), project management/productivity (eg. Monday.com, FreshService, Sharepoint etc) is a strong plus.
  • Excel at relationship building.
  • Be able to act strategically while being a hands-on team member.

Nice to have

  • Experience in indirect procurement within a mid-to-large sized enterprise.
  • Familiarity with software licensing models / SaaS agreements.
  • Experience with one or more Indirect categories is a plus.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite / Google Workspace
  • experience with one or more of procurement tools (e.g., NetSuite ), financial planning/ERP systems (e.g. Anaplan, Oracle ), project management/productivity (eg.
  • Monday.com, FreshService, Sharepoint etc) is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrable experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to enhance procurement efficiency and insights is a great plus.

  • If you are hired in Denver, CO the compensation range for this position is between $85,400 and $ 122,000 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits.
