Rovex is looking for a Backend Engineer who thrives on high-stakes data challenges.

Scalable Data Pipelines: Design and implement high-throughput data storage and processing systems specifically for robotic transport telemetry and sensor data.
Robotics Data Analysis: Build the backend frameworks that perform real-time and post-trip analysis on robotic performance and environment mapping.

Data Heavy Focus: Proven experience with time-series databases, large-scale data processing (e.g., Kafka, Spark, or custom Python/C++ streams), and cloud/on-prem storage optimization.
Technical Proficiency: Strong command of backend languages (Python, C++, or Go) and SQL/NoSQL databases.
4+ years of backend development with a heavy focus on data architecture.
Proven experience with time-series databases, large-scale data processing (e.g., Kafka, Spark, or custom Python/C++ streams), and cloud/on-prem storage optimization.
Work Authorization Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
