About the role
- The Spanish Teacher at the Lower School will provide an introduction to the Spanish Language for Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade on a weekly rotating schedule with the other special class offerings at the Lower School.
- Brook Hill provides curriculum resources and details about the schedule and curriculum can be provided by the Dean of Academics and Lower School Principal upon applying.
- Teachers at The Brook Hill School report to the Principal over their area of teaching and are responsible for the proper care of the students, subject matter, and equipment under their purview using a Christian worldview.
Responsibilities
- Brook Hill teachers are expected to support one another and work together toward an excellent overall academic program.
- Manage and create an intentionally inviting classroom.
- Engage in ongoing communication and collaboration with Brook Hill team members in order to strengthen student performance and support.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree required
- modify plans on the basis of student-driven data through assessments and feedback.
