- LANDSCAPE CREW LEADER Summary The Landscape Crew Leader is responsible for overseeing daily landscape and hardscape installation activities while ensuring efficiency, quality workmanship, and adherence to company standards.
- The Landscape Crew Leader is responsible for coordinating daily job site activities, providing direction and training to crew members, ensuring compliance with company safety standards, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Environmental Management Inc. is an accredited design/build, irrigation, and maintenance landscaping company serving clients throughout Central Ohio.

- Working under the direction of the Foreman/Forewoman and Superintendent, and in coordination with the Project Manager, this position leads and supports crew members in the successful completion of commercial and residential landscape construction projects.
- Maintain accurate tool inventories and report equipment damage or repair needs.
- Inspect, clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance on assigned equipment.
- Enforce and support all company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and maintain job site quality standards.
- Perform basic equipment repairs and troubleshooting as needed.
- Lead by example, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and accountability.
Requirements
- Knowledge of landscape plants, materials, irrigation systems, and hardscape installation techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and specifications.
- Experience operating landscape and construction equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
- The physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
- This role requires hands-on leadership, equipment operation, and a strong understanding of landscape installation practices and materials.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in landscape construction and crew supervision preferred.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
Skills
- Operate tools, machinery, vehicles, and construction equipment safely.
