About the role

  • The primary functions of the laborer include but are not limited to assisting with production, performing general labor tasks, maintaining plant housekeeping, and providing assistance in all areas of the plant as needed.
  • This position operates on a rotating two-week schedule, alternating between 5:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. -12:00 a.m.
  • Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as set forth by company policies and MSHA.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to perform preventive maintenance and pre-shift inspections; repair and/or clean equipment as needed.

Requirements

  • Some to no experience of Level One equipment utilized at laborer's facility required.
  • The selected candidate will be required to work collectively in a team environment with other co-workers and managers.
  • Ability to work near, around or on light or heavy equipment.
  • Ability to repeatedly climb stairs and ladders.
  • Ability to repeatedly balance, bend from the trunk, crawl, kneel, push and pull objects.
