About the role
- Reporting to the Associate General Counsel, you will act as a trusted, business-facing advisor to NFI's business units and functional leaders across Canada and the United States.

Responsibilities
- Support leaders across the business with timely, practical, and commercially-grounded legal advice that informs operational and strategic decision-making.
- Identify legal risks early and provide practical recommendations to support decision-making, risk mitigation, dispute prevention, and the management of disputes, claims and litigation.
- Support governance matters, including the development, review, and implementation of corporate policies, practices, and business processes.
- Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and initiative, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, competing deadlines, and sensitive matters in a collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESFUL: Law degree and current license to practice law in a Canadian or U.S. jurisdiction.
