Responsibilities
- Support and consult on the development and execution of strategic initiatives aligned to U.S. Commercial goals and objectives.
- Lead ad hoc planning, operations, and special projects, translating ambiguous business questions into clear workplans and recommendations.
- Develop work products for senior management consideration, including frameworks, presentations, analyses, recommendations, and thought pieces.
- Create and maintain detailed project plans with clear tasks, milestones, owners, timelines, risks, and status reporting.
- Proactively engage cross-functional stakeholders to identify interdependencies, resolve issues, and drive alignment.
- As an Associate Director, Project Management at Gilead you will support key strategy and planning initiatives at the U.S. Commercial level and partner with Business Units and functions to advance organizational priorities.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 10 years experience
- Masters' Degree and 8 years years experience
- PhD and 2 years experience
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience
- OR Master's degree, MBA, with 8+ years of relevant experience or PhD or MD with 2 years relevant experience.
- 2+ years at a top-tier consulting firm preferred.
- Biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred.
- Must have a strong understanding of the U.S. Commercial business, portfolio, and cross-functional operating environment.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to complex new concepts, techniques, standards, tools, and processes.
- Recognized as an expert in a relevant field within the organization, with the ability to solve a wide range of complex problems.
- Able to work with virtually no immediate direction and exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches.
Compensation
- $195,670.00 - $253,220.00.
- Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
- These considerations mean actual compensation will vary.
- This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
