About the role

  • The company has commercialized AlloMap Gene Expression Profile Testing, which aids physicians in surveillance of heart transplant recipients.
  • Assist R&D Bioinformatics and Informatics in development of NGS data processing workflow.
  • The IT Manager will assist the Senior Director of Clinical Informatics in managing key IT projects and procedural compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop/update IT strategies, projects, timelines, budgets and disaster recovery plans
  • Development and support of information processing systems and data analysis pipelines
  • Debugging and problem analysis of production issues, as well as developing appropriate solutions
  • Administer and maintain network components, servers and workstations including system upgrades and security updates
  • Responsible for setting up new user accounts, email accounts and perform employee termination procedures
  • Administer/track problems and document problem solution using the Help Desk system
  • Support corporate network including Active Directory, WINS, DNS DHCP, and email systems
  • Manage corporate telephone system including system maintenance, adds, moves and changes

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Requisite experience with Windows System Administration to manage external Microsoft Certified System Engineering support
  • Experience with network management (e.g. switches, routers and firewalls)

  • Experience working in UNIX/Linux & Windows environments with administration skills
