About the role
- We help organizations scale AI beyond the limits of traditional datacenters by enabling higher density, greater efficiency and lower environmental impact - accelerating time-to-AI from first deployment to full production.
- What impact you will have As a Field Services Technician, you will be on the front lines of Submer's deployments across the United States.
- You'll be responsible for installing, commissioning, maintaining, and supporting Submer systems on-site at datacenters and client facilities.
Responsibilities
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for hardware, plumbing, and mechanical/electrical systems.
- Document all site activities including installations, interventions, and system updates.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to report issues and suggest design improvements.
- Maintain tools, spare parts, and test equipment in good working order.
- Assist in training clients or partners on proper operation and maintenance procedures.
Nice to have
- Technical training in electromechanical engineering, HVAC, electrical systems, or related field preferred.
- Experience working in mission-critical environments (datacenters, clean rooms, industrial systems) is a strong plus.
- US Secret or Top Secret Clearance is preferred
