Responsibilities
- Lead continuous improvement projects including packaging inventory and cost optimization efforts.
- Create packaging standards and guidelines in support of reducing damage through shipment and enabling the receiving process
- Manage sales forecasts for each SKU and work closely with the SC&L Team to ensure proper material planning.
- Utilize SAP to run Material Requirements Planning to ensure material availability for customer demand and to maintain a plan for every part.
- Support critical business metrics such as: Customer Fill Rate, Supplier Fill Rate.
- These opportunities are delivered in a variety of formats to make our portfolio of solutions agile, sustainable, and scalable to support our employees in developing the skills needed to succeed.
Requirements
- Business Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Packaging or related field.
- Work is expected to be conducted in a manner that stresses the importance of preventing incidents and illnesses, including attending all required safety meetings and trainings.

- The Packaging Planner Intern position is responsible for the packaging ordering execution within the supply chain.
- This includes demand forecasting, material ordering, engagement with the supply base, problem solving, and process improvement.
- The position liaises with both internal and external customers and suppliers, requiring strong communication and collaboration skills.
