Responsibilities

  • Manage the communication efforts with the finance and management groups to understand purpose, goals and objective of the respective legal entities.
  • Performs management of legal entity reporting function ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Manage and prepare quarterly summary of results, including explanations of variance from expectation.
  • Manage Regulatory Compliance requirements.
  • Supports plan roll ups at a legal entity level, provides appropriate analyses
  • Directs and manages the legal entity reporting and regulatory compliance on assigned entities.

Requirements

  • Gain valuable knowledge from and experience with diverse, caring colleagues around the world.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) required

Nice to have

  • 10+ Years combined audit experience and insurance accounting experience dealing with auditors, with GAAP reporting and general ledger application experience.
  • Required 5+ Years insurance accounting experience required Systems integration / implementation experience preferred Policy research and drafting experience preferred
  • including the ability to delegate key areas of responsibility required Advanced oral and written communication skills demonstrating ability to share and impart knowledge.

Compensation

  • $107,060.00 - $159,390.00 Annual Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location.
  • In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan.
