About the role

  • The Salesforce Developer is a key member to our Application Development team, who is seen as a technical/ domain expert on Salesforce.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain visualforce, AppExchanges, Force.com pages and integration to other third party solutions
  • Build client-specific solutions on the Force.com platform using Apex and Visual Force
  • Develop integration processes using Salesforce.com's Web Services API and third-party integration tools
  • Develop and apply advanced Salesforce functionality to solve business problems and create customized solutions on the Force.com platform
  • Own the build process including continuous integration, source control and deployment operations.
  • Build integrations between Salesforce.com and external systems using custom web services.
  • Advocates and implements standards, best practices, technical design practices and unit testing
  • Collaborate with other developers and administrators to improve overall Salesforce platform performance, scalability and security.
  • Create technical requirements and specifications as needed to support full project lifecycle

Requirements

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex business requirments and propose effective technical solutions.

Nice to have

  • 3-5 years of experience developing custom applications, preferably within Salesforce.com
  • 3-5 years of experience developing custom data integrations between multiple systems or databases
  • Strong knowledge in the following
  • Eclipse/Visual Studio Code, source control, Apex, JavaScript, Lightning framework, data hygiene and security and test-driven development
  • Experience with and desire to use AI-assisted development tools.
  • Experience with Devin or other tools is a plus.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Web Services, SOQL, AJAX, XML, Javascript and Lightning web component
  • Understanding of data structure and its correlation to Salesforce: Sales & Service Cloud, Data Loader, Custom Applications
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment both offshore and onsite at various times with minimum direct supervision
  • Well-versed in cloud computing technologies and concepts
  • Development experience in Agile environment
  • Desire to embrace AI-assisted development and AI solutions
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Sciences, Computer Science or relevant discipline
  • High proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Force.com API, Web Services
  • Salesforce Developer Certifications not required but a plus
