Responsibilities
- Supports Credentialing department with initial and reappointment credentialing for eligible practitioners
- Recognized, investigates, and validates discrepancies and adverse information obtained from the application primary source verifications and other sources
- Verifies and documents expirables using acceptable verification sources to ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards
- Collaborates with physician leaders and administrators
- Analyzes application and supporting documents for completeness and informs applicants and reapplicants of the application status including the need for additional information
- Performs and coordinates meeting logistics, agenda, calendar invites, and transcribes meeting minutes
- Performs other duties as delegated/assigned
Requirements

- employees will perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor and/or hospital administration as required.
Nice to have
- 3-5 years' experience in hospital and/or CVO credentialing.
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) Certification through NAMSS required within 2 years of hire or promotion.
- Must have a clear unrestricted Driver's License
