Responsibilities

  • Supports Credentialing department with initial and reappointment credentialing for eligible practitioners
  • Recognized, investigates, and validates discrepancies and adverse information obtained from the application primary source verifications and other sources
  • Verifies and documents expirables using acceptable verification sources to ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards
  • Collaborates with physician leaders and administrators
  • Analyzes application and supporting documents for completeness and informs applicants and reapplicants of the application status including the need for additional information
  • Performs and coordinates meeting logistics, agenda, calendar invites, and transcribes meeting minutes
  • Performs other duties as delegated/assigned

Requirements

  • employees will perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor and/or hospital administration as required.

Nice to have

  • 3-5 years' experience in hospital and/or CVO credentialing.
  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) Certification through NAMSS required within 2 years of hire or promotion.
  • Must have a clear unrestricted Driver's License
