About the role

  • Oracle EBS Finance Techno-Functional Lead - Onsite1 Key Responsibilities
  • - Strategic Leadership: Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oracle EBS Financials, advising finance leadership on best practices, system capabilities, and process optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project lifecycles for financial rollouts, upgrades, and patches.
  • Manage offshore/onshore development resources and ensure code quality.

Requirements

  • Required Functional Expertise
  • Proven experience with Advanced Global Intercompany System (AGIS), E-Business Tax (eBTax), and Approvals Management Engine (AME).
  • Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS accounting principles, financial reporting, and multi-org/multi-currency setups.
  • Required Technical Expertise
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Ability to write complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, and APIs.

Nice to have

  • Must have completed at least two full-lifecycle implementations and one R12.2.x upgrade.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • You understand the data model of EBS Financials intimately (e.g., you know exactly how XLA_AE_HEADERS links to GL_JE_LINES and the subledger transaction tables).
  • You have a proven track record of reducing month-end close times through system automation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to say "no" to bad customizations and guide the business toward standard functionality.

Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Workflow Builder, AME, and Oracle Forms Personalization.
