About the role
- We're currently hiring for open positions in the US and Canada.
- We operate in Canada as Engineered Lifting Systems and Equipment (ELS)/DBA Gorbel® Canada, and subsequent communication related to Canadian positions may show the ELS name.
- You may be contacted by phone by recruitment personnel based in either Canada or New York.
Responsibilities
- Manage training budget (travel and accommodations) per job order, ensure set targets are achieved.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with active accounts and suppliers.
- Develop, maintain, and deliver structured technical training programs (classroom, virtual, and hands-on).
- Create training materials including presentations, manuals, SOPs, job aids, and assessment tools.
- Deliver product-specific and process-based training aligned to company standards.
- Maintain controlled documents in accordance with company and quality standards (e.g., ISO).
- Collaborate with Engineering, Service, and Operations teams to ensure training accuracy.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for training programs and delivery methods.
- Support new product launches by developing and delivering relevant training programs.
Requirements
- Industry experience in supply chain, material handling, warehouse, distribution and/or 3PL environments.
- Ability to learn and understand the technical aspects of company products.
- Ability to read schematics and understand the interaction between electrical and mechanical systems.
- Occasional office attendance is required for meetings and training.
- Update job training schedule with Global WHS Service Manager as required.
- Quote and process parts orders as required (in down periods from training)
- Support field teams with troubleshooting guidance and technical clarification when required.
- In addition to the responsibilities listed above, employees are also expected to complete other duties as required.
- Education
- Proficient Microsoft Office Suite skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Projects
- Job Qualifications and Training Requirements
- Two (2) to four (4) years of related experience and/or training
- or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong practical knowledge and understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Demonstrates historical results-oriented customer service ability of high product knowledge and electrically and mechanically inclined.
- Previous electrical troubleshooting experience.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and passport for onsite client visits and provide a driver's abstract upon request.

- Post-Secondary school diploma or degree, preferred.
