About the role

  • Analyzes specifications, lays out metal stock, set up and operates machine tools, and fits and assembles parts to make and repairs molds, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and machinists' hand tools.

Responsibilities

  • Reading and Interpreting Blueprints, design schematics and CAD drawings.
  • Design jigs and templates as support in the fabrication of parts.
  • Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled and complete assigned work orders.
  • Inspecting tools and dies for defects, perform repairs.
  • Support Tooling Efficiency Improvement and Scrap Reduction Projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or necessary.
  • The Maintenance Mold Repair Technician repairs, and maintains mold, fixtures, and all other tooling in conformance to customer and/or company specifications per control plans.
  • Maintains a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with procedures and safety regulations.

  • Obtain training and certification for forklift and aerial lift operation as required.
  • Experience with quality control analysis.
  • Must be extremely strong on safety rules and regulations.

Nice to have

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent mold required, two-year degree in a related field preferred.
  • 5 Years experience as Maintenance Injection Mold Technician preferred.

Compensation

  • $34 - $38 per hour, depending on experience
