About the role
- This position is for SHELTER HOME MORTGAGE, one of the Family of Companies of Newrez LLC.
- Meet with prospective clients at outside locations such as a client's home.
- Obtain all information deemed necessary to process loan requests in a timely manner, including but not limited to credit reports, income verification, appraisals, lien searches, etc.
Responsibilities
- We partner with real estate companies to offer you a convenient one-stop experience for your home buying and financing needs.
- Stay informed of developing trends in the mortgage industry
- Maintain compliance with all industry-specific federal and state licensed activity requirements and NewRez Code of Conduct
Requirements
- Minimum successful 1 year mortgage loan origination experience
- Proven sales skills and leadership abilities
- Ability to quickly connect with people in an outgoing, friendly manner
- Ability to handle faster-than-average pace of activities
- Careful decision-making skill with ability to avoid mistakes
- Ability to delegate in a positive style with thorough follow up skills
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge, Skill and Ability
Nice to have
- 2 year college degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
