About the role
- This role combines technical estimating, bid strategy, risk management, subcontractor engagement, and team leadership.
- You will work directly with the Chief Estimator, Senior Estimators, executive leadership, operations teams, and a broad subcontractor network on projects that serve communities throughout California.
- Essential Functions and Conditions: Prepare complete, accurate, and supportable estimates and assigned work products on time.
Requirements
- Proficiency with estimating, ProEst (digital takeoff), Building Connected, Bluebeam, scheduling, spreadsheet, bid-management software.
- Ability to understand and comprehend complete estimates/projects preferably in the $20 million to $100 million range
- Amoroso Construction reserves the right to amend job descriptions as required to meet shifting organizational priorities.
- Knowledge and understanding of unit costs and production rates for self-performed tasks (concrete and carpentry).
Nice to have
- At least (3) years of construction estimating experience
- public works experience strongly preferred.
- Preconstruction and alternative delivery method experience preferred
