About the role
- The Administrative Assistant is responsible for managing communications and scheduling for the Campus Logistics business office and various Campus Logistics facilities.
- These facilities include Print and Mailing Services, Postal Services, Student Mail Center, and Warehouse Services.
- The Administrative Assistant is also responsible for maintaining office operations and cleanliness at the Campus Logistics business office.
Responsibilities
- Manage Workday processes including job postings, transfers, terminations, and other workday duties upon request.
- Perform all other tasks assigned by management with administrative tasks and projects.
- Create training manuals and onboard new hires for all Campus Logistics
Requirements
- Strong ability to multitask.
- 1-2 years of experience in this or a related field
- Four-year college degree from an accredited university in Business, Communications, or a related field
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to convey clear, well articulated information.
- Ability to understand, speak, and write English in order to convey messages and correspond in an articulate and professional manner.
- May be required to travel locally and on campus
- May be required to sit to perform desk work or type on a keyboard.
- Regularly required to hear and speak in order to effectively communicate orally.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, and climb stairs to move about the campus.
- Attend all required Campus Logistics meetings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, problem solving ability and attention to detail.
- Possess public communication skills that allow professional representation of Liberty University.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Computer skills
- Intuitively able to reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment in order to solve problems of both a routine and complex nature.
