Responsibilities
- Develop the material requirements for assigned commodities using all Toro SAP information, planned order and buy information
- Participate in critical need activities to support Production Planning
- Firm release specifying quantities and delivery dates utilizing the desired inventory level policies. Maintain the A, B, and C policies as prescribed for planning buckets
- Collaborate with the buyer and vendor to resolve all supply issues and ensure timely delivery
- Onboards and trains new planners, sharing knowledge, and best practices to support team development
- As the Material Planner, this position ensures seamless material flow and production support through strategic planning and coordination.

Nice to have
- High School Diploma or GED, technical certification preferred
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, demand planning, or warehousing.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Exceptional critical thinking skills
- Strong computer skills including MS office products and ability to learn ERP systems
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Demonstrated self-initiative
