About the role

The clinical dentists at NWTC are classified as a supervisory role which means supervising student activity.
Clinic Dentists provide patient assessments, student assessments, and are the overall health officers of clinic operations.
Diagnosis or dental treatment for the patient is not included in the performance criteria.

Must be a licensed DDS in the state of Wisconsin
Previous clinical experience within the last 3 years
Ability to move around the campus to attend meetings and events.
In addition, must be able to work in, on, around, over and under fixed equipment and machinery.
May be required to work from lifts, ladders, and scaffolding.
Proficiency in using hands and fingers to handle or operate office equipment, tools, controls, and/or heavy equipment and machinery.
However, discussion about "possible diagnosis and treatments" is required upon discussion of student assessment.

Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in using hands and fingers to handle or operate office equipment, tools, controls, and/or heavy equipment and machinery. Capability to push, pull, and/or maneuver equipment as needed.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

$62.71 - $65 per hour
Salaries/Wages for all finalists (internal and external) will be placed within the range based upon education, experiences, current wages, and internal equity.

Salaries/Wages for all finalists (internal and external) will be placed within the range based upon education, experiences, current wages, and internal equity.
Patient Assessment - Review Medical Histories - Blood Pressure - Pre-medication requirements - Provide DDS consent to treat the patient - Determine need for medical consultation with medical providers.
Experience with dental software (Dentrix preferred).
