Responsibilities

  • The candidate will provide in-depth analysis and innovative solutions, serve as an advisor and coach to developers and analysts, implement unit testing and TDD practices, and leverage Linux and shell scripting capabilities.
  • Architect, Design, and implement a robust Python-based solution.
  • Drive Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) principle-based development and mentor team members to leverage advanced Python coding techniques and features.
  • Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements.
  • Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions.
  • Implement Unit Testing and TDD to ensure software quality and maintainability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s

Nice to have

  • PhD or master’s degree in computer science, data science, statistics, engineering, or related field.
  • /Skills/Experience
  • 5+ years of industry experience as a data scientist, specializing in ML Modeling, Ranking, Recommendations, or Personalization systems.
  • Strong background of ML/DL/LLM algorithms, model architectures, and training techniques.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, PySpark, TensorFlow, or other analytical/model-building programming languages.
  • Proficiency with tools and LLMs.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Resolve a variety of high-impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
