About the role

Job Description: Reliability Engineer Huntsman is seeking a Reliability Engineer supporting the Advanced Materials Division located in McIntosh, AL.
This position will report to the Maintenance Manager.
The position focuses on ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.

Provide backup support for the Maintenance Supervisor when needed.
Ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical field implementation and validate results.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build networks across teams.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
3+ years of relevant experience in a related field.
Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to take ownership and make decisions in a team environment.

Proficiency with Internet, email, and Microsoft Office programs.

Working knowledge of Process Safety, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASME, API).
Experience with SAP, LIMS, PI systems, and other engineering or data analysis tools.
Strong analytical and engineering reasoning capabilities.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
Strong leadership and coordination skills across functions.
Industrial manufacturing environment supporting maintenance and reliability operations.
Analyze monitoring and testing data to identify risks and initiate corrective actions before failures occur.
Use collected data to define appropriate monitoring and maintenance frequencies.
