About the role
- This Group Director - Investment Counselor role is responsible for delivering comprehensive, goals-based financial planning for high-net-worth and ultra- high-net-worth clients.
- Translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable guidance for clients
- Serve as investment planning resource for private banking teams
Responsibilities
- Support client acquisition and retention through planning expertise
Requirements
- Minimum experience required: 10+ Years
- Series 7, 66 licenses required for position
- Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent)
- Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
- Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings.
Nice to have
- Fifteen plus years of work experience in Private Banking or Financial Services
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Proven sales success and strong business acumen
- Strong community presence with an established network
- Experience or demonstrated understanding of investments, wealth planning, credit and banking concepts
- Focuses on the client experience and works tirelessly on the client's behalf

Compensation
- $139,948.50 - $302,571.00
- Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, commissions, or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.

- Work with Private Banking team to develop and maintain comprehensive financial plans (insurance, retirement, estate, tax strategy, risk management, philanthropy)
- If this role is filled in New York, NY the realistic base pay would range from $214,587 - $347,956 /annually, plus participation in generous annual bonus plans
