Responsibilities

  • The Virtual Construction Engineer is a hands-on technical role responsible for executing BIM and Virtual Construction (VC) tasks that directly support construction operations.
  • Accountable for work within own role only, but work completed impacts team and / or projects
  • Impacts own team and adjacent teams
  • Recognizes and solves typical problems that can occur in own work project / department with minimal oversight
  • Evaluates and selects solutions from established options and employs creativity to develop new options for consideration

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field, or equivalent years of work experience
  • Ability to follow standardized procedures and field safety protocols
  • Ability to follow departmental standards and accept technical direction

Nice to have

  • At least one (1) year of experience in Operations preferred
