Responsibilities
- The Virtual Construction Engineer is a hands-on technical role responsible for executing BIM and Virtual Construction (VC) tasks that directly support construction operations.
- Accountable for work within own role only, but work completed impacts team and / or projects
- Impacts own team and adjacent teams
- Recognizes and solves typical problems that can occur in own work project / department with minimal oversight
- Evaluates and selects solutions from established options and employs creativity to develop new options for consideration
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field, or equivalent years of work experience
- Ability to follow standardized procedures and field safety protocols
- Ability to follow departmental standards and accept technical direction
Nice to have
- At least one (1) year of experience in Operations preferred
