About the role
- Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a highly skilled System Administrator/Cloud Engineer to enhance our existing technical team supporting the advancement of AI/ML/Data Science technologies in Warrenton, VA.
- The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, innovative, cloud engineer to join in and contribute to a team environment.
- This position requires a broad knowledge of system administration, knowledge of automation technologies, and scripting.
Skills
- Must have hands-on experience with AWS and Linux in a production environment.
- Experience patching and maintaining system's databases, to include RDS, MySQL, and Oracle
- Proven experience troubleshooting and solving technical problems
- Knowledge of Federated Identity, RBAC, authentication & authorization solution, etc.
- Understanding of secure-cloud configuration, (e.g., CloudTrail, AWS Config), cloud-security technologies (e.g., VPC, Security Groups) and
- Experience with configuration management (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Experience with security, such as NGFW, WAF, SIEM, endpoint security.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment
- Bachelor's Degree in IT related field or equivalency in related work experience
- Demonstrated on-the-job experience working and solving technical problems independently as a system administrator.
- Experience using a scripting language.
- Demonstrated ability to monitor and troubleshoot enterprise workflow applications, to include: installing, starting, and stopping background
