One year of the required experience for the following minimum qualifications must have been on-the-job experience:
Three years of experience or training in pipefitting, steam fitting, or plumbing.
In accordance with University Policy Statement 18, this position is considered essential and may be required to report or stay on campus in the event of an emergency or closure.
Must be able to work overtime and on-call.
Must be able to stoop, squat, kneel, bend their back, stand for up to 3 hours, ascend and descend stairs, climb ladders (fixed and portable), lift 50 lbs and reach overhead.
Due to the position's physical requirements, a pre-employment physical examination will be required per FASOP: HR-04.
This position is classified as a safety and security-sensitive position.
These positions are subject to drug screens per PS-67/FASOP HR-04.
This position requires a valid driver's license, will require an MVR, and is subject to drug screens per PM-33/PS-67/FASOP HR-04.
